Dr Mohamed Loghdey, a dermatologist with extensive training and experience in South Africa, the UK, and Australia, has established himself as a highly qualified professional in his field. After graduating from the University of Cape Town in 1995, he began his career as a Senior House Officer in general medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital, where he developed a passion for dermatology.
Following this, Dr Loghdey pursued specialization training at the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town, becoming a Fellow of the College of Dermatologists of South Africa in 2003. Seeking to broaden his expertise, he moved to the UK in 2004, where he took up a position as a Consultant Dermatologist in the NHS. His dedication to further training led him to complete prestigious fellowships in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, dermatological surgery, and laser surgery at the Oxford Dermatology Skin Surgery Unit and Nottingham Dermatology Unit.
In 2013, Dr Loghdey relocated to Australia, completing the Australian Medical Council Examinations and achieving Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2014.
With his practice based in Westmead, Sydney, Dr Loghdey offers advanced treatments in both surgical and non-surgical dermatology.
