Dr Yahya Al-Habbal

Mr Al-Habbal is a highly skilled surgeon with extensive training and experience in trauma, upper gastrointestinal surgery and interventional endoscopy. He began his surgical career in Iraq before moving to the UAE and then the UK, where he attained membership with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

In pursuit of advanced surgical training, Mr Al-Habbal relocated to Australia, completing a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Surgeons through Austin Health. He then spent a year in the acute surgical unit at Eastern Health before embarking on three years of specialised training in upper gastrointestinal tract surgery and interventional endoscopy.

As part of his ANZGOSA training, Mr Al-Habbal gained exposure to a variety of cancer centres in Western Australia and Victoria, further adding to his repertoire of surgical techniques and experience. Recently, he was recognized for his significant contributions to the field, having been appointed as an Associate Fellow for the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

Through his broad and diverse experiences, Mr Al-Habbal has become a highly sought-after surgeon, renowned for his skills in managing complex cases and delivering excellent surgical outcomes.
