Saturday appointments available. Dr. Toy is a co-founder of LYLA Dermatology and LYLA Aesthetics and a specialist Dermatologist with fellowship from the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Her practice uniquely blends her expertise in medical dermatology with her passion for aesthetic medicine, allowing her to address a wide range of patient needs. Dr. Toy has a particular focus on skin cancer management, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair loss, phototherapy, scar treatment, aesthetics, and pediatric dermatology. Born in Thailand, Dr. Toy completed her high school education at the British International School, Bangkok Patana School, where she achieved one of the highest marks in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This accomplishment enabled her to pursue a medical degree at the University of Melbourne, from which she graduated in 2012. She then began her medical career with an internship at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. Early in her career, Dr. Toy set her sights on specializing in dermatology, a highly competitive field. To prepare, she completed rotations in the Dermatology Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital and earned a Masters of Public Health from the University of Sydney. In 2014, she took a year off to welcome her first child, Charlie. Dr. Toy began her specialist dermatology training in 2017, rotating through major dermatology departments across Victoria. She completed her fellowship exams in 2021, all while balancing her clinical duties, studies, and the birth of her second child, Lyla, in 2019. Dr. Toy’s long-standing interest in aesthetic medicine complements her medical dermatology practice, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of care. As Secretary of the Victorian Faculty of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, she maintains an active role in teaching, research, and education through her public appointment at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Toy values spending quality time with her children, Charlie and Lyla, and her husband, Ed.
