Dr Tejraj Tawde is an accomplished Psychiatrist with over 15 years of cumulative experience in the field. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Psychiatry from esteemed institutions in India (MD in Psychiatry), UK (MRCPsych), and Australia (FRANZCP).

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Tawde has primarily focused on General Adult Psychiatry in Victoria for over 8 years. His scope of practice includes managing mental health problems of patients over the age of 18, both in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Dr Tawde has expertise and a keen interest in treating anxiety disorders such as panic disorder, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, phobias, and related disorders. He also has vast experience in managing mood disorders including depression, dysthymia, bipolar affective disorder, and other related mental health issues.

Dr Tawde's specializations extend to managing psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and brief psychotic episodes. He has a particular interest in managing perinatal mental health problems including postnatal depression, postpartum psychosis, and neuropsychiatry, where neurological and mental health problems co-exist.
