Dr Tarun Yadav

Dr Yadav has a variety of special interests within psychiatry, including addiction psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, adult ADHD, and anxiety disorders. He also incorporates TMS (neurostimulation) and CBT approaches into psychiatric care. Dr Yadav provides his services to a diverse range of age groups, including 18-60; 60+; and 16-24.

With his extensive experience, Dr Yadav has worked with various populations, including asylum seekers and refugees, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, doctors, psychiatrists or medical students, as well as non-English speaking patients.

His expertise spans across multiple areas, including acceptance and commitment therapy, addiction, ADHD, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, cognitive behavioural therapy, conversion disorder, depression, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), epilepsy, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, neuropsychiatry, obsessive-compulsive disorders, pain management, post-traumatic stress disorder, problem gambling, prolonged grief, psychosis, psychotherapy, schizophrenia, sexual disorders, supportive psychotherapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Yadav offers various services, such as insurance opinions/reports, opinion and report (MBS item 291), shared care, and is a Workcover provider. He also provides telehealth consultations to enhance accessibility and convenience for his patients.
