Dr Chris Bench

Dr Bench's primary specialty lies in general adult and forensic psychiatry. He has particular interests in addiction, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, dialectical behavior therapy, forensic psychiatry, obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, sexual disorders, and supportive psychotherapy.

In terms of age groups, Dr Bench primarily works with individuals aged 18 to 60. Additionally, he has had significant experiences working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, doctors, psychiatrists or medical students, military and veterans, and emergency services personnel.

His expertise extends to a variety of services including civil and criminal medicolegal evaluations, insurance opinions/reports, opinion and report (MBS item 291), professional supervision, and being a Workcover provider.
