Mr Senthil Rengasamy

Dr. Senthil Rengasamy is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot, ankle, hand, hip, knee, and sports surgeries. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Rengasamy completed his medical degree with distinction from the Madras Medical College in 2000. He further pursued his Masters in Orthopaedics at the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India, in 2004.

Moving to Australia, Dr. Rengasamy began his unaccredited orthopaedic training at the Townsville Hospital and joined the AOA QLD training scheme in 2010. He gained extensive experience during his training at the Redcliffe Hospital, where he completed his fellowship in 2016. Additionally, he worked as a Staff Specialist surgeon at the Redcliffe Hospital, Brisbane QLD, for several years.

Currently, Dr. Rengasamy is serving as a specialist orthopaedic surgeon at Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton, where he holds the position of Clinical Director/Head of Unit in Orthopaedics. He also visits Echuca Regional Health on a monthly basis, providing consultations and surgeries.

Dr. Rengasamy keeps up with the latest advancements in medical technology and offers the anterior approach for hip replacements, ensuring the best possible outcomes for his patients. His outstanding contributions and accomplishments have led him to expand his practice at Shepparton Private Hospital, where he provides surgical services to patients from all walks of life.
