Dr Ruwangi Udayasiri

Dr Udayasiri is an experienced Australian-trained general surgeon who has a keen interest in breast, endocrine, and laparoscopic surgery. With a primary medical degree and Bachelor of Advanced Medical Science from the University of Melbourne, Dr Udayasiri completed her surgical training at many hospitals across Victoria and Tasmania, including The Alfred, The Austin, and Burnie Hospital. She received the FRACS in General Surgery in 2017 and the CCRTGE in 2018.

Dr Udayasiri is a lecturer, education facilitator, and examiner at the University of Melbourne's Department of Rural Health. She is also involved in training medical students and SET trainees, in addition to conducting research and presenting at national and international surgical conferences. Outside of her academic pursuits, Dr Udayasiri consults at the Shepparton Women's Health Centre and performs surgeries at the Shepparton Private Hospital.

As a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, General Surgeons Australia, and the Australian Medical Association, Dr Udayasiri continues to work tirelessly to provide her patients with the highest level of surgical care possible.
