Dr Sarah Azer

Dr Sarah Azer is a highly qualified urologist with extensive training and expertise in the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms, incontinence, and Uro-Oncology. She received her combined Medicine and Law degree from Monash University, followed by completing her Urological training in Melbourne. Furthermore, she completed a year-long robotic pelvic oncology fellowship in Bristol, United Kingdom, where she trained under two internationally renowned robotic surgeons, developing valuable insights and knowledge. Dr Azer is known for her patient-centric approach and tailors her treatments to each patient's individual needs and circumstances. She carefully listens to their motivations and experiences, provides evidence-based information, and takes the time to help them make the best decisions for their health. In addition, she works in close collaboration with her gynecology colleagues to establish a Women's Health Service aimed at providing exceptional care to women in the Bayside area at Holmesglen and at Knox Private Hospital for patients in the East. Dr Azer's vision is to empower her patients with the knowledge they need to take control of their health and make informed decisions. She welcomes phone calls from doctors at any time to discuss Urological queries, providing guidance and advice to improve the quality of healthcare that her patients receive.
