Dr Samuel Cunneen

Meet Sam, a highly skilled plastic surgeon living and working in Perth, Western Australia. With his alma mater being the University of Western Australia, he took the route of basic surgical training in the United Kingdom, which culminated in Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). This led him to advanced training in Plastic Surgery in Perth, where he achieved the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons FRACS (plastic and reconstructive surgery). Sam's experience extends beyond Perth, as he underwent further training and gained a second qualification in Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery. He also spent a year working at the Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, UK, gaining valuable experience in complex aesthetic surgery. Sam now runs a thriving private practice in Perth while also consulting at Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, where he trains the next generation of leaders in plastic surgery. As a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, he also trains medical students. To ensure that his practice stays at the forefront of surgical developments, Sam regularly attends national and international conferences. He is a member of multiple societies including the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Western Australian Melanoma Advisory Service. While Sam possesses the knowledge and skill to perform a wide range of cosmetic and aesthetic surgical procedures, his particular focus is on breast augmentation. He balances his time as a surgeon with quality time spent with his young family.
