Saad Ahmed

Dr Saad B. Ahmed is an accomplished Consultant Geriatrician and General Medicine Physician with a wealth of experience in providing high-quality care to patients. As a member of the expert General Medicine and Geriatrics team at Healthscope, he is dedicated to ensuring that his patients receive the best possible treatment that is tailored to their unique needs.

Dr Ahmed completed his medical degree at the prestigious University of Peshawar in 2003 and then travelled to the United Kingdom to further his training in medicine. He attained membership from The Royal College of Physicians, London and subsequently completed advanced training at renowned institutions such as St. Vincent, Monash, and Ballarat Hospital. His training focused on geriatrics, general internal medicine, and perioperative medicine, enabling him to develop a wide range of clinical skills and expertise.

In addition to this, Dr Ahmed has also pursued further training in Palliative care medicine and Pain management at the Peter McCallum Centre, further deepening his knowledge and understanding of these critical healthcare areas. His ability to speak multiple languages, including Hindi, Pashto, Punjabi, and Urdu, makes him a valuable asset to the Healthscope team as he can communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
