Dr Rishi Kaushal

Dr Rishi Kaushal is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement and revision surgery of the hip and knee. With extensive experience and expertise in his field, Dr Kaushal aims to provide high-quality medical care to his patients.

After completing his training at a prestigious tertiary care hospital in Delhi, Dr Kaushal relocated to Australia in 2004. He then successfully completed a one-year fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty at Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane, further enhancing his surgical skills.

Currently, Dr Kaushal serves as an Orthopaedic Consultant at Rockhampton Hospital since 2007. His practice encompasses orthopaedic trauma, foot and ankle surgery, as well as knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgery. In recognition of his clinical excellence and dedication, he was admitted as an Orthopaedic fellow to the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2011.

In 2012, Dr Kaushal joined the esteemed team at the Hillcrest Specialist Centre. Working alongside his colleagues, he continues to expand his practice, which includes joint replacement surgery, revision surgery of the hip and knee, orthopaedic trauma, foot and ankle surgery, and knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgery. He also visits the Gladstone Specialist Centre and Emerald Specialist Clinic on a regular basis, ensuring convenient access for patients.

Dr Kaushal's commitment to his patients is evident through his availability to accept after-hours emergency referrals. Additionally, he participates in KNOWN GAP for Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery, making his services more accessible to a wider range of patients.
