Dr Rachael Oliver-Redgate

Dr. Oliver-Redgate is a highly experienced and dedicated medical professional with expertise in General Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Developmental Biology and her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from University College London. After her training as a junior doctor in Exeter in the UK, she migrated to Australia in 2009 to commence internal medicine Physician Training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. She then went on to receive Advanced Speciality Training in General Medicine at several hospitals in the Sydney area including Royal North Shore, Mona Vale, Manly and Sydney Adventist Hospitals. She also received Advanced Specialty Training in Geriatric Medicine at Mona Vale, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai, and Concord Repatriation Hospitals.

Dr. Oliver-Redgate has obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General Medicine in 2015 and in Geriatric Medicine in 2018 (FRACP). She also completed a Perioperative Medicine Course with Monash University in Melbourne, where she gained valuable knowledge in complex perioperative care. She attends annual Perioperative Medicine Symposiums to keep up-to-date with current practices.

Dr. Oliver-Redgate's clinical and research interests include acute Geriatric Medicine, Dementia, and Perioperative Medical management of complex medical patients, along with rehabilitation. She has published and recently presented her research at both national and international conferences in Geriatric and General Medicine. She has also been involved in three clinical trials currently running at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital researching new therapies for Dementia.

Dr. Oliver-Redgate is dedicated to teaching and ongoing education. She is also involved in the FRACP clinical examinations and serves as a formative Medical Student clinical examiner. She currently holds appointments in General Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Orthogeriatrics at the Northern Beaches Hospital. Her private practice is at Mt Wilga Private Hospital and the Northern Beaches Hospital. Dr. Oliver-Redgate is an outstanding physician and continues to provide excellent healthcare services to her patients.
