Dr Jacob Kwak

Dr Jacob Kwak is a dedicated and highly qualified physician who specialises in Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Medicine. He holds an MBBS degree from the University of New South Wales, and has undergone extensive post-graduate training at several of the leading hospitals in Australia, including Royal North Shore Hospital, Concord Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Gosford Hospital, Neringah Hospital and Greenwich Hospital.

With years of experience in the field, Dr Kwak has earned his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and is now recognized as a dual specialist in Palliative and Geriatric Medicine. He currently serves as a Palliative Medicine specialist and Geriatrician at several of the most reputable hospitals in Australia, including Sydney Adventist Hospital, Blacktown Hospital and Mt Wilga Private Hospital.

As a passionate advocate for holistic care, Dr Kwak integrates his expertise in both fields to provide compassionate and patient-centered care that is designed to optimize function and improve quality of life. In addition to his clinical work, he is also actively involved in teaching and clinical education, mentoring physician trainees, medical students, nursing and allied health members.

Dr Kwak's research interests include pharmacology in the older population, as well as clinician-family communication. He is a proud member of ANSGM and ANZSPM, and his contributions to the field have been recognized by his peers and colleagues. Dr Kwak is committed to improving the quality of life of his patients, and to advancing the practice of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine through research, education and compassionate care.
