Dr Weerasinghe received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka in 2003. Following this, she obtained her Amc Certificate from the Australian Medical Council in 2011, solidifying her knowledge and skills in the Australian healthcare system.
