Dr Nick Enright

Dr. Enright is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist, known for his empathetic and patient-centred approach to care. He graduated with Honours from the prestigious University of Sydney in 2012, before completing his ophthalmology registrar training at the renowned Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne. During this time, he also completed his fellowship training in glaucoma, gaining expertise in a wide range of glaucoma treatments, from medication and laser therapy to surgical interventions such as trabeculectomy, tube shunts, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).

With his strong commitment to patient care, Dr. Enright takes the time to listen to each of his patients' concerns and collaborates with them to develop personalised treatment plans tailored to meet their individual needs and goals. His dedication to this aspect of care has earned him a reputation as a compassionate and kind practitioner.

In recognition of his expertise and commitment to the field, Dr. Enright was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO) in 2023, after completing his Masters of Medicine (Ophthalmic Science) at the University of Sydney four years earlier.

Dr. Enright also has a passion for teaching and training the next generation of ophthalmologists at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He was selected as Registrar of the Court in 2022 for the RANZCO fellowship examination panel and continues to be actively involved in teaching and mentoring junior trainees in the operating theatre and clinics.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Enright is highly regarded for his friendly manner and approach with staff and patients alike. He works diligently to maintain strong relationships with optometrists and general practitioners throughout Melbourne, ensuring optimal outcomes for his patients.
