Mr Morris Ritz

Morris Ritz is a highly accomplished plastic and reconstructive surgeon, with over three decades of experience in the field. He graduated from Witwatersrand University in South Africa in 1982, achieving a degree in medicine and receiving the Sonya Walker Prize in physiology for his outstanding academic performance. Morris pursued further studies in plastic and reconstructive surgery and was awarded a Fellowship with honors from The Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 1990.

From 1992 to 1995, Morris led the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baragwanath Hospital in South Africa while concurrently operating his private practice. For his exceptional contributions to medicine, Morris has been awarded the Synthes Prize for best publication from the Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Southern Africa and the Phyllis Knocker/Bradlow Award for his academic excellence. Morris has developed a keen interest in breast reconstruction, aesthetic surgery, body contouring, microsurgery, hand surgery, and skin cancer surgery.

Throughout his illustrious career, Morris has maintained his professional memberships with multiple organisations, including the Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the Society of Hand Surgery of South Africa. He is also a proud member of the Australian Medical Association, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Morris's dedication and expertise have earned him an outstanding reputation worldwide, making him an integral part of the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
