Dr Matthew Holland

Dr Matthew Holland is an exceptionally skilled Gynaecologist with a speciality in high and low risk obstetrics, subfertility and IVF, and general gynaecology. Based in New Lambton Heights, in the city of Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia, Dr Holland is dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients.

Dr Holland obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Sydney in 1997, and later went on to complete his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2003. In 2013, he achieved a Fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).

Dr Holland believes in the importance of continuity of care for his patients, particularly in the areas of fertility treatment and obstetric care during pregnancy. Having six children himself, he understands the significance of a calm and reassuring approach when it comes to his patients' well-being. His aim is to provide personalised care and support throughout the entire journey, from fertility treatment to pregnancy care.

In addition to his private practice, Dr Holland also works with Genea Newcastle, where he gained valuable experience in IVF procedures. Couples requiring fertility treatment will undergo their procedures locally at The Lingard Hospital in Merewether. Dr Holland also consults with obstetric and general gynaecology patients at Newcastle Private Hospital, where he has private rooms.
