Dr Kelly Palmer

Dr Palmer specialises in general adult psychiatry, with a focus on schizophrenia. She has a particular interest in women's health and perinatal psychiatry. Dr Palmer provides care for individuals aged 18 to 60. She has experience working with doctors, psychiatrists, and medical students, as well as gender diverse individuals, those with intellectual disabilities, military and veterans, and families.

Dr Palmer has expertise in various mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, complex trauma, depression, forensic psychiatry, gender affirmative therapy, pain management, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Palmer offers a range of services including civil and criminal medicolegal assessments, gender confirmation letters, insurance opinions/reports, and is a Workcover provider.

Dr Palmer takes a holistic approach to health and strives to provide the highest level of evidence-based care to her patients. She believes in patient-led care and values working collaboratively with individuals and their families to help them achieve their mental health goals.
