Mr Joseph Robin

Mr Joseph Robin is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Caulfield, Melbourne, with a primary focus on hip, knee, and shoulder surgeries. With over 35 years of experience, Dr Robin has developed a strong expertise in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgeries, sports injuries, and joint replacements for hips and knees. His recent interest lies in providing alternative treatments for hip arthritis in younger and more active patients. Dr Robin has been using the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) prosthesis since 1999 and has achieved an impressive success rate of 99.7% in over 350 cases.

Dr Robin holds the qualification of FRACS from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, Melbourne, obtained in 1980, and further received an F.A. Ortho. A qualification in 1986 from the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA). He completed his training in the United Kingdom and Austria before assuming a consultant position at the Moorabbin Hospital and the Austin Hospital.
