Dr Indrajit Karande is an exceptionally skilled Paediatrician specialising in developmental and behavioural Paediatrics. With over 15 years of experience, he is currently practicing in Mount Lawley, 6050, Perth, Western Australia. Dr Karande obtained his medical degree from India and completed his postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics before relocating to Australia in 2010.
Throughout his career, Dr Karande has undergone training in Paediatrics, Neonatology, and developmental Paediatrics at esteemed institutions such as the Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania and Princess Margaret Hospital (now Perth Children’s Hospital) in Perth. He has also worked in various public and private sector healthcare facilities across Western Australia.

Additionally, Dr Karande has expertise in General Paediatrics for conditions such as asthma, constipation, and eczema. In the field of Neonatology, he provides care for unsettled babies with colic, reflux, and cow milk protein intolerance.
Dr Karande has obtained a Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis from the University of Western Australia, and he is one of the few Paediatricians in Western Australia who are ADOS-2 trained. He has a deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and offers comprehensive assessment and management for patients with Autism and related conditions.
In addition to his specialization, Dr Karande provides comprehensive healthcare services for children from birth to 16 years of age, including services in General Paediatrics such as failure to thrive, poor growth, sleep issues, constipation, and eczema. He also conducts neonatal checks at six weeks and provides support for unsettled babies.
