Dr Neha Chawla

Dr Neha Chawla is a Paediatrician specialising in the care and treatment of children from birth to 16 years of age. Based in Perth, Western Australia, she has been practicing medicine for the past 16 years. Dr Chawla completed her medical studies, obtaining an M.B.B.S degree, in India in 2003.

After completing her studies, Dr Chawla gained valuable experience working at renowned hospitals such as James Cook University Hospital in the United Kingdom and KK Women and Children’s Hospital in Singapore. During this time, she focused on Neonatology and General Paediatrics, further expanding her knowledge and skills in the field.

For the past seven years, Dr Chawla has been working at Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth, where she has gained expertise in managing acute and chronic medical conditions in children. She has a special interest in addressing issues such as unsettled babies, failure to thrive, feeding/nutrition problems, asthma, eczema, and constipation. It is important to note that Dr Chawla does not diagnose or treat ADHD, autism, or behavioral issues.

In addition to English, Dr Chawla is fluent in Hindi, which allows her to effectively communicate with patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Dr Chawla currently consults at St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital, where she continues to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to her young patients.
