Dr Huda Younis

Dr. Huda Younis is a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 25 years of experience in the medical field. She obtained her MBChB from Baghdad in 1988 and worked in New Zealand before moving to Brisbane to complete her fellowship with the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in 2004. Since 2006, Huda has been in private practice in Canberra, where she provides comprehensive and compassionate care to women of all ages.

Her clinical expertise covers a wide range of women's health issues, including general Gynaecology such as pelvic pain, cycle problems, heavy menstrual bleeding, polyps, fibroids, ovarian cysts, contraception, and menopause. She specialises in endoscopy, including minimal invasive surgery and colposcopy for vulva, vagina, and abnormal pap smears. Her years of experience and continual participation in ongoing education and risk management programs have helped her provide personalised and evidenced-based care to her patients.

Although Huda has a strong love for obstetrics, she is not currently taking on any obstetric patients and is focused on delivering high-quality Gynaecology care. She has built a reputation for her friendly and approachable manner, always taking the time to listen to her patients' concerns and needs. She is dedicated to providing the best possible care to her patients, ensuring that they feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey.
