Dr. Hazel Serrao-Brown is an Endocrine and General Surgeon based in Deakin, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. She has completed specialist Endocrine Surgical training as the TS Reeve International Endocrine Surgery Fellow at the prestigious University of Sydney Endocrine Surgery Unit with Prof Stan Sidhu and Prof Mark Sywak. Dr. Serrao-Brown is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). She specialises in the surgical management thyroid conditions, including radiofrequency ablation, parathyroid disease, adrenal conditions, and also manages a variety of general surgical pathologies. She has specialist accreditation to perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Dr. Serrao-Brown also has expertise in laparoscopic surgery including gall bladder removal, appendicectomy and hernia repairs. Dr. Serrao-Brown currently practices at Calvary John James Hospital.
