Mr Gordon Hay

Mr Hay offers telehealth services for the convenience of his patients. His interests and expertise include a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, including surgeries on the hip, knee, ankle, trauma-fracture, elbow, shoulder, and wrist.

His special interests encompass general orthopaedic trauma, injuries of the shoulder (including rotator cuff tears and instability) and shoulder replacement surgery. He also specializes in sports injuries of the knee (including ACL reconstruction), knee replacement surgery, hip replacement surgery, injuries of the ankle and hindfoot, elbow arthroscopy, injuries of the wrist, and surfing injuries.

Mr Gordon Hay completed his medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Western Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He underwent sub-specialty training in joint replacement surgery in Switzerland and sports orthopaedic surgery in Auckland, New Zealand.

In 2012, Mr Hay founded Geographe Bay Orthopaedics. Through this practice, he aims to provide a comprehensive orthopaedic service to the people of Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River, and the wider South West region.
