Dr Georgina Lyons

Dr. Georgina Lyons is an experienced Medical, Surgical, and Paediatric Dermatologist, specialising in dermatology and cosmetic injectables. She is based in Springwood, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Dr. Lyons obtained her medical qualifications from the University of Melbourne in 2008, graduating with honours. She also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science with honours and a Master's degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

Dr Lyons completed her dermatology training in Melbourne and Singapore, gaining extensive clinical exposure. She was recognized for her exceptional performance in the Dermatology Fellowship exams, being awarded the prestigious Australasian College of Dermatologists Fellowship Prize for achieving the highest mark in Australia. Additionally, she received the Ken Paver Medal for excellence in Medical Dermatology.

With almost two decades of medical experience, Dr. Lyons has worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at The Royal Children’s Hospital, The Western Hospital, and in private practice in Melbourne. She has a keen interest in dermatologic research and has published research papers in several renowned dermatology journals. Dr. Lyons has also presented her findings at national and international conferences.

Dr. Lyons specialises in various aspects of dermatology, including mole and skin cancer checks, skin cancer surgery, dermoscopy, acne, psoriasis (including biologics), hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), eczema, paediatric dermatology, pigment disorders (including melasma and vitiligo), women's/vulval dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, anti-aging, and laser treatments. She has a particular interest in treating psoriasis and cosmetic injectables.
