Dr Buckett's main area of expertise is in the field of Eating Disorders, with a particular focus on Binge Eating Disorder (BED). He has a special interest in treating eating disorders and has acquired a Diploma from the Gestalt Institute of New Zealand.

Dr Buckett's professional practice includes working with individuals across various age groups, including mother and baby, adults between 18-60, and young adults aged 16-24. He also has extensive experience and expertise in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

As a dedicated psychiatrist, Dr Buckett is skilled in different therapeutic approaches, including dialectical behaviour therapy, family therapy, interpersonal therapy, mentalisation-based therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and supportive psychotherapy. He provides a range of services, including professional supervision, shared care, urgent assessments, weekly psychotherapy, and after-hours appointments to cater to the needs of his patients.
