Dr Fariba Behnia-Willison

Dr Fariba Behnia-Willison is an exceptionally skilled gynaecologist based in Ashford, Adelaide. With a background in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she has extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery and advanced laparoscopy. Dr Behnia-Willison has a special interest in utero-vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence, endo-gynaecology, urodynamics, pelvic floor disorders, and endometriosis.

After completing her medical degree at the University of Germany in 1995, Dr Behnia-Willison went on to receive her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1995. She also holds a Master's degree in Minimally Invasive Surgery from the University of Adelaide.

Dr Behnia-Willison is a senior consultant at Flinders Medical Centre and serves as a senior lecturer at Flinders University. Grants for her research on PRP/normal saline have been awarded by the Australasian Gynaecological Society of Surgery. Currently, Dr Behnia-Willison is researching vaginal fat grafting for non-surgical pelvic floor dysfunction and sexual dysfunction.
