Dr. Erwin Groeneveld is a highly skilled Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He founded Brisbane Eye Clinic in 1990 and has been providing comprehensive eye care to patients throughout his career.

Throughout his career, Dr. Groeneveld has maintained his commitment to education and the advancement of his field. He has served as a Visiting Medical Officer to Public Hospitals and Veteran Affairs for more than 25 years, teaching trainee registrars. Now, he provides on-call services for private ophthalmic emergencies.

Dr. Groeneveld's expertise spans a range of complex eye conditions, including Cataract Surgery, Retinal Surgery, Diabetic Eye Disease, AMD, and Glaucoma. He has successfully managed these conditions in numerous patients over the years, earning him a reputation as a trusted and respected physician in his field.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Groeneveld is known for his dedication and service. He previously served as an officer in the Australian Army Reserve, an AusAID surgeon in the Pacific, and has held office bearer positions in his professional college.
