Dr Er Tsing Tng

Dr. Er Tsing Tng is a highly qualified Dermatologist specialising in Dermatology. Based in Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia, she is associated with Warners Bay Private Hospital. Dr. Tng completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales in 1999. She received her Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists from the Australasian College of Dermatologists in Australia.

With her extensive experience in medical education, general practice, and emergency medicine, Dr. Tng brings a wealth of knowledge to her field. She gained valuable experience working in the emergency department and general practice, and also served as a Medical Educator. Dr. Tng's interest in Dermatology began during her medical school years. She was awarded The Katherine Georgouras Prize in Dermatology and completed overseas observation posts at prestigious clinics in Rochester, London, and Singapore. She furthered her training in Dermatology with a term at Orange Dermatology, where she acquired knowledge of rural aspects of the specialty.

Dr. Tng currently offers consultations in private practice at Valentine Dermatology and in public practice at John Hunter Department of Dermatology. She is the first accredited Dermatologist in the Newcastle region for Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and she will provide this essential service to patients starting from 2022. Dr. Tng actively engages in research and teaching, having published several peer-reviewed articles and participating in numerous national and international conferences. She serves as a lecturer at the University of Newcastle and University of Sydney, presenting to students and general practitioners on various dermatology-related topics.

Her special interests include Mohs surgery, general skin cancer management, surgical dermatology, scar management and revision, melanoma diagnosis and care, as well as general dermatology, including but not limited to eczema, psoriasis, acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, and autoimmune disorders. Dr. Tng's extensive knowledge and experience in the field make her a trusted and sought-after Dermatologist among her patients and colleagues.
