Dr Duncan McLellan

Dr. Duncan McLellan is an experienced and well-respected clinical microbiologist currently serving as the Head of the Microbiology Department at Joondalup Private Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus. Dr. McLellan began his medical training at the University of Western Australia where he earned his degree in 1991. He then continued onto his physicians' training, specialising in infectious diseases, at Royal Perth Hospital and the University of Tennessee, USA in 2000.

After completing his physicians' training, Dr. McLellan underwent extensive clinical microbiology training at Royal Perth Hospital and the PathCentre. Shortly after, he gained the esteemed position of Consultant Infectious Diseases Physician at Fremantle Hospital where he practiced for some time before taking on his current role at Joondalup Private Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus.

Throughout his career, Dr. McLellan has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in his field. He is highly skilled in diagnosing a wide range of infectious diseases and has played a vital role in managing and treating complex infections. Dr. McLellan is dedicated to providing personalised, compassionate care to all of his patients and is committed to continuously expanding his medical knowledge and skills.
