Dr Drew Moffrey

Dr Drew Moffrey is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, specialising in High Risk Obstetrics, Gestational Diabetes, Urogynaecology, and Advanced Laparoscopy. He practices at Pindara Hospital in Benowa, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Dr Moffrey completed his Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degrees at Griffith University and the University of Queensland, respectively. He was accepted into the prestigious RANZCOG training program in 2005, where he gained comprehensive experience and knowledge in all areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology by working in various hospitals across South East Queensland.

Throughout his career, Dr Moffrey has been recognized for his exceptional contributions. He was awarded the Crown Street Medal for his research on gestational diabetes and was honored with the Citizen of the Year award from Griffith University Medical School. Previously, he served as the Deputy Director of the Obstetric and Gynaecology unit at Logan Hospital, where he supervised the delivery of over 3,600 babies per year.

As a father himself, Dr Moffrey understands the emotions and concerns associated with pregnancy and childbirth. He prioritizes effective communication and building strong relationships with his patients, ensuring that they receive the best possible care during such a significant life event. Dr Moffrey is committed to continuing his public work, serving as a part-time staff specialist at Logan Hospital and teaching at Griffith University.
