With a background in medicine and engineering, Dr Ward has a unique perspective in his field. He completed his Honours degree in Medicine from ANU and an Honours degree in Engineering from QUT. He was also awarded a Rhodes Scholarship and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in knee replacement research from the University of Oxford in 2005.
