Dr Simone Trist

Having completed her fellowship in General Paediatrics in 2018, Dr Trist possesses a wealth of experience in paediatric and neonatal care. Her training has taken her to esteemed hospitals in various regions of Australia, including New South Wales, Northern Territory, and Western Australia.

Currently, Dr Trist holds multiple appointments, demonstrating her commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare. She serves as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at Wollongong Private Hospital, providing specialised care to young patients. Additionally, she holds a Staff Specialist position at Wollongong Public Hospital, further contributing to the paediatric care in the community. Dr Trist also operates a private clinic at Dr Pip Gale and Dr Jodi Croft's rooms, catering to the local community's needs for expert paediatric care.

Actively invested in her community, Dr Trist is dedicated to serving the children of the Illawarra region. She also holds the role of Clinical Co-lead in Paediatrics at The University of Wollongong, which underscores her commitment to advancing paediatric medicine through education and research.
