Dr Aggarwal is a highly qualified medical professional with a passion for research and advanced training in renal medicine. After graduating from Monash University in Melbourne with honours, she completed her Internship, Residency and Basic Physicians training at Westmead Hospital. Her hard work and dedication led to her achieving the Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) upon the completion of her advanced training in renal medicine.
Dr Aggarwal's training has been extensive; she has worked in numerous leading hospitals across Sydney, including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Hospital, Concord Repatriation General Hospital, and Wollongong Hospital. Her expertise in the area of renal medicine has allowed her to work closely with patients and medical professionals alike.
Dr Aggarwal's love for research is reflected in her current work. She is in the final stages of completing her Ph.D. on the subject of Hypertensive disorders of Pregnancy. Her research involves working with expert scientists, doctors, and Professors from around the world, including Australia, Sweden, and the USA. Her work was recently published in a top American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and presented at the International meeting of ISSHP (International society of the study of hypertension in pregnancy) in Brazil, 2016.
Dr Aggarwal is a valuable member of the medical community and is a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at the Northern Beaches Hospital. In addition to her expertise as a medical professional, she also speaks Hindi fluently.
