Dr. Shanti Vaidya is a highly skilled and experienced cardiologist, specialising in interventional cardiology. He is currently based in North Mackay, Queensland, Australia.

Dr. Vaidya completed his Interventional Fellowship at two renowned institutions, 'The Royal Melbourne Hospital' and 'The Alfred Hospital' in Melbourne, where he honed his expertise in complex coronary interventions, rotational atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound, and optical coherence tomography. He is proficient in performing coronary procedures through both radial and femoral artery approaches, with extensive experience in both acute and elective cases.

Before relocating to Australia in 2011, Dr. Vaidya worked as a Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist overseas for 8 years. During this time, he focused on the diagnosis and management of coronary heart disease, hypertension, and heart failure. He is well-versed in a range of cardiology investigations, including Electrocardiogram, Exercise Stress Test, Transthoracic Echocardiogram, Exercise Stress Echocardiogram, Holter monitoring, Seven day event monitoring, and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring.
