A/Prof Savio Sardinha

A/Prof Savio Sardinha is a senior consultant psychiatrist who has 21 years of experience in Psychiatry in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. He is currently based in Burleigh Waters, Gold Coast, Queensland.

A/Prof Sardinha has a diverse range of qualifications, including an MBBS, MRCPsych, FRANZCP, and an MBA. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong interest and expertise in various areas of psychiatry, including PTSD, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, ADHD, OCD, and Neuropsychiatry in both youth and adults.

In addition to his clinical practice, A/Prof Sardinha has made significant contributions to the field of psychiatry. He has worked with the World Trade Organisation (WHO) where he trained Primary Care Physicians and played a pivotal role in developing the Mental Health curriculum in Family Medicine. Furthermore, he holds the esteemed position of Associate Professor in Psychiatry at James Cook University.

A/Prof Sardinha not only focuses on providing his services in-person but also offers Skype consultations to General Practitioners (GP's) in regional and Rural Australia. This initiative allows individuals in remote areas to benefit from his expertise and guidance.

Although A/Prof Sardinha is proficient in English, he is also fluent in Hindi and Portuguese, which enables him to cater to a diverse range of patients and communicate effectively with them.
