Dr Sam Sabary

Dr Sam Sabary is an experienced obstetrician, gynaecologist, and infertility specialist providing comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological services to the greater Geelong community. With a strong educational background and extensive clinical experience, Dr Sabary is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients.

Dr Sabary obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Baghdad in Iraq in 1992. After completing his internship in Baghdad, he gained valuable experience working in General Medicine and Emergency in Australia. Dr Sabary then pursued his passion for women's health by undertaking a senior residency post in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Ballarat Hospital.

To further his expertise, Dr Sabary commenced his formal training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Queensland, where he honed his skills through clinical and theoretical experience at renowned institutions such as Logan Hospital, Mater Hospital for Women, and Rockhampton Hospital. Seeking to expand his knowledge in the field of infertility, he returned to Victoria to complete his final two years of training at Sandringham Hospital in Melbourne under the guidance of Associate Professor Peter Lutjen, who introduced him to the field of IVF.

Driven by a strong desire to assist couples struggling with infertility, Dr Sabary underwent intensive training in IVF with Professor Gab Kovacs. He possesses a deep understanding of the complex emotional and medical challenges faced by those seeking fertility treatment and is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to each patient on their journey towards parenthood.

In addition to his expertise in the field of infertility, Dr Sabary is an accomplished obstetrician dedicated to providing outstanding obstetric and gynaecological services to the greater Geelong community and surrounding areas. With a special interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, infertility/IVF, general obstetrics, and pelvic floor disorders, he ensures that his patients receive the highest quality of care utilizing the latest advancements in the field.
