Dr Rohit Kumar

Dr. Rohit Kumar is a certified specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Australia. He completed his MBBS degree from the University of Queensland in 1995, followed by a Master's degree in Burns Surgery in 2004. Dr. Kumar completed rigorous training in both General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, earning his FRACS (Plas) in 2011. With over 20 years of surgical experience, Dr. Kumar has been involved in over 15,000 procedures. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australasian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Kumar serves as a VMO at Nepean Public Hospital in Sydney, where he both trains young plastic surgeons and provides plastic surgery services. He has also held teaching positions at the University of Technology Sydney and Notre Dame University and is an instructor for EMSB courses in Australasia. With numerous awards and recognition from his peers and the industry, Dr. Kumar is highly respected in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Kumar's practice is located in Sydney, Orange, and Penrith, where he specialises in body surgery, breast surgery, skin cancer, cancer reconstruction, burns and scar management, and hand surgery. His warm and inviting manner puts patients at ease, and his attention to subtle and state-of-the-art techniques focuses on a natural look for his patients. As a firm believer in communication, Dr. Rohit Kumar ensures his patients have all their questions answered before embarking on their surgical journey. He is also part of the Expert Advisory Board on cosmetic surgery for Vogue magazine and was a speaker at the Breast Masters Symposium held in Sydney in 2018.
