Dr. Perce Tucker is a highly experienced psychiatrist with a passion for treating patients with PTSD, mood disorders, early psychosis, and age-related disorders. Over his 20-year clinical psychiatry career, Dr. Tucker has helped countless patients improve their mental health and overall wellbeing.
Dr. Tucker began his medical career as a Country Medical Superintendent, working tirelessly to provide healthcare to those living in remote and underserved areas. He has also worked as a Medical Registrar, Psychiatrist, and Public Health Physician, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge throughout his extensive training. In 1972, Dr. Tucker began treating War Veterans and has continued to do so to this day, gaining expertise in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.
As well as treating patients, Dr. Tucker is heavily involved in training and supervising registrars and medical students. He is passionate about education and ensuring that the next generation of healthcare professionals has the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
In addition to his role at Greenslopes Private Hospital, Dr. Tucker is a Senior Specialist (VMO) in the public sector. He is committed to providing exceptional care to all his patients, whether they are receiving treatment in a private or public setting.
