A/Prof Ned Abraham

Dr. Abraham is a distinguished Professor who completed his graduation with Honours in 1986. He pursued his passion for surgery by achieving postgraduate degrees, including a Master of Medicine & a PhD from the University of Sydney. Dr. Abraham went on to complete his training in surgery at RPAH in Sydney, which culminated in obtaining his FRACS distinction in 2002. After gaining specialty experience, Dr. Abraham served as the Surgical Superintendent for the Colorectal Unit at RPAH Hospital for three years before moving to Coffs Harbour.

In 2004, Dr. Abraham earned the esteemed FRCS (England) award, an invitation presented by the President of the Fellowship. He celebrated his membership with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia & New Zealand & held the position of a member of the Section of Colon & Rectal Surgery of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Additionally, Abraham is a retired Army Reserves Captain of the RAAMC, sharing his expertise widely.

Dr. Abraham has a vast knowledge of colorectal surgical procedures, interventions for malignant & benign diseases, and anal & rectal ultrasound. A multi-skilled professional, he is also proficient in manometry, bio-feedback, Botox injections, and Capsule Endoscopy. His overall contribution to this industry is highly commendable, and he continues to inspire numerous budding professionals through his work.
