Dr. Das is a highly skilled surgeon with expertise in Upper GI, Bariatric, General, and Advanced Endoscopic surgeries, including ERCP. He specialises in weight loss, hernia, gallbladder, and a broad range of general and upper gastrointestinal procedures, providing his services at Baringa Private Hospital, Ramsay Surgical Centre, and Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

Trained at prestigious facilities, such as the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and with additional training in minimal access surgery in France, Dr. Das is committed to delivering specialized services to the locals in the region without the need to transfer patients to major hospitals in Sydney or Brisbane.

Apart from his clinical practice, he shares a passion for teaching medical students, junior doctors, and specialist doctors in training through education and continuous professional development. He was appointed Clinical Lecturer through the Rural Clinical School of the University of New South Wales, and while setting up his practice in Baringa, he continues to contribute to the community with his expertise in the field.
