Dr Miriam Boxer is a radiation oncologist based in Concord, Sydney, Australia. After completing her Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) at the University of Adelaide in 1995, she went on to earn First Class Honours in 1996 and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) in 2000 from Flinders University, South Australia. Dr Boxer then started her radiation oncology training in Wollongong and completed it at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals in Sydney, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2010.
Dr Boxer is dedicated to sharing her knowledge through education and writing. She served as the Director of Training at Liverpool and Campbelltown hospitals in Sydney for six years, where she recruited, mentored, and supervised medical trainees. She has also made substantial contributions to several publications focused on lung cancer, breast cancer, and the impact of peer review.
With a broad range of clinical experience, Dr Boxer specialises in the treatment of solid tumour malignancies, particularly lung cancer and breast cancer. She is also extensively involved in matters of safety and quality, as well as peer review and education.
