Dr Ming-Celine Dobosq is a specialist in haematology, serving patients with a diverse range of blood and bone marrow disorders. Her expertise includes treating lymphomas, myelomas, chronic leukaemias, myeloproliferative and myelodysplastic syndromes, disorders of coagulation, iron disorders, and perioperative and pregnancy related haematologic disorders. She places a strong value on providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients.
After graduating from the University of New South Wales, Dr Dobosq completed her specialist haematology training at Westmead Hospital in Sydney, in which she obtained her Fellowships of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Royal College of Pathologists. Subsequently, Dr Dobosq conducted research in immunotherapy for lymphomas and myeloma at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research. Her role as a laboratory haematologist at Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology and medical director of their laboratory at Westmead Private Hospital allows her to merge the diagnostic investigation of her patients’ haematological issues with their bedside care.
Besides her medical practice, Dr Dobosq is an accredited supervisor for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, where she trains and educates junior doctors, allied health, nursing and scientific staff. Her special interests lie in cytopenias, cytoses, and paraproteins, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative syndromes, and obstetric haematology. Dr Dobosq is a dedicated and skilled professional, committed to delivering the best care possible to her patients.
