Dr Lucia Saliba

Dr. Saliba is an Australian-trained General Surgeon with extensive experience in breast and general surgery, including breast reconstruction. After graduating from the University of NSW in 1995, she completed her General Surgery Fellowship in 2003 and went on to achieve her Breast and Endocrine Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2005. Dr. Saliba has undergone rigorous training locally and overseas, especially in areas related to Breast Reconstruction, Breast Oncoplastics, and Breast Cancer Therapy.

Dr. Saliba's expertise is not just limited to breast cancer; she has a comprehensive understanding of breast and general surgery, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, hernia repair (open and laparoscopic), and cholecystectomy. She has a passion for education and is a conjoint lecturer at the University of NotreDame, where she provides regular educational events and interactive talks with General Practitioners. She also teaches and supervises junior medical staff and surgical registrars in the fields of Breast and General Surgery.

Dr. Saliba has a public appointment in both Fairfield Public Hospital and Auburn Public Hospital and a private appointment at St George Private Hospital.
