Kerry-Lee is a highly experienced staff specialist endocrinologist with extensive expertise in the management and treatment of a wide range of endocrine disorders. She is currently appointed as a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and practices at Prince of Wales Hospital with admitting rights at St Vincent’s Private Hospital and Prince of Wales Private Hospital.
Kerry-Lee completed her advanced endocrine training at St Vincent’s Hospital and was admitted to the Royal Australian College of Physicians as a specialist endocrinologist in 2006. She also holds a PhD from the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, where she focused on insulin resistance in fatty liver disease and Hepatitis C, resulting in multiple publications in this area.
Her areas of interest include the management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, adrenal, parathyroid and pituitary disorders. She has a holistic approach to medicine and takes a patient-centered approach to the care of her patients.
Kerry-Lee is particularly experienced in the management of insulin pump therapy for Type 1 diabetes and has helped many patients achieve better control of their disease. She is highly regarded by her patients and colleagues for her compassionate and dedicated approach to the care of her patients, and her ability to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
