Dr Kent Kuswanto

Dr. Kent Kuswanto is a Gynaecologist with a focus on complex gynaecological pelvic surgery and minimally invasive gynaecology surgery. He is highly skilled in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, as well as the use of the latest surgical and robotics technologies, including da Vinci robotic surgery. Dr. Kuswanto completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Medical Science at The University of Melbourne in 2004, where he received the prestigious Max Kohane Prize for the highest score in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He then undertook specialist training at Mercy Hospital for Women and later completed advanced training and a fellowship in Surgical Gynaecological Oncology at Monash Medical Centre. With his extensive training and experience, Dr. Kuswanto has developed expertise in complex gynaecological pelvic surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery, including robotic surgery. Dr. Kuswanto holds consultant specialist appointments at Mercy Hospital for Women and Monash Medical Centre. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in lecturing, mentoring, and examining medical students from The University of Melbourne and Monash University. Dr. Kuswanto is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and Indonesian, allowing him to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients.
