Dr Karen Bisley

Dr Karen Bisley is a highly qualified and experienced Sports Medicine Physician based in Canberra. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Otago University, New Zealand in 1992. She is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners since 2003. In addition, Dr Bisley has Fellowship status with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2008 and the Australasian College of Sports Physicians since 2013.

Dr Bisley has a particular interest in diagnosing and treating patients with both sports-related and non-sports-related acute, non-acute, and chronic injuries. She has a wealth of experience in managing and treating various musculoskeletal conditions including injuries to muscles, joints, tendons, and fractures. Dr Bisley is also skilled in treating patients with osteoarthritis and has a keen interest in concussion management and biomechanics.
