Dr Kalman Piper

Dr Kalman Piper, an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon, specializes in advanced shoulder arthroscopic and open surgery, as well as trauma surgery. With a keen interest in education, Dr Piper frequently travels nationally and internationally to share his expertise in shoulder surgery through lectures and live surgical demonstrations. He completed specialized training in arthroscopic techniques in Annecy, France, under the guidance of Dr Laurent Lafosse, complementing his Australian training.

Dr Piper's special interests lie in shoulder surgery, upper limb surgery, and orthopaedic trauma surgery. Passionate about sharing his knowledge, he was invited as one of two international faculty members to deliver lectures to over 1000 attendees at the Chinese Sports Medicine Association Annual Conference in 2018. In addition, he has traveled to countries such as China, India, and Thailand to train orthopaedic surgeons in shoulder surgery.

Outside of his practice, Dr Piper serves the Royal Australian Navy Reserve as a Surgeon Lieutenant Commander. He is committed to providing quality care and maintaining the highest standards of excellence in his field.
