Dr Jonathan Bromley

Dr Jonathan Bromley is a highly qualified Gastroenterologist based in Garran, Canberra. With a strong passion for providing quality patient-focused care, Dr Bromley obtained his medical degree from the University of Bristol in 1998. Completing his postgraduate training in internal medicine, specialising in gastroenterology, he went on to achieve his fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians in 2007.

Dr Bromley's dedication to his field led him to pursue further training and expertise. In 2008, he was awarded an endoscopy fellowship from the Gastroenterology Society of Australia, providing him with the opportunity to spend 12 months at St. Mark’s hospital in London. St. Mark's is recognized by the World Endoscopy Organization as one of only 19 endoscopy centers of excellence worldwide. During his time there, Dr Bromley worked alongside renowned experts in colonoscopy, further honing his skills and knowledge.

Upon his return to Australia, Dr Bromley joined the gastotrACT practice, known for its dedication to quality and patient-centered care. With extensive experience and expertise in gastroenterology, Dr Bromley's primary interests lie in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), capsule endoscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopy. He has a special interest in screening colonoscopy and small bowel video capsule endoscopy.
